Privacy Policy

Effective August 4, 2026
This is plain-language boilerplate provided by the Mokiyo team and reviewed for common practice. It is not legal advice. If you believe a disclosure on this page is incomplete or inaccurate, please email hello@mokiyo.com.

1. Who this applies to

This policy describes how Mokiyo (“Mokiyo,” “we,” “us”) collects, uses, and protects personal information submitted through www.mokiyo.com and related pages. Mokiyo is a pre-product company currently recruiting pilot partners, so the scope of information we handle is intentionally narrow.

2. Information we collect

We collect only what you choose to give us through the contact form:

Our web host may also record standard server logs (IP address, request time, user agent) for security and diagnostic purposes. We do not run analytics, advertising pixels, or third-party trackers on this site at this time.

3. How we use it

We use the information you submit for a single purpose: to respond to your inquiry.

4. Service providers

When you submit the contact form, your submission is transmitted through Web3Forms, a form-delivery service that forwards the message to our team inbox. Web3Forms processes the data solely to deliver your message and is bound by its own privacy policy. Our email provider stores the resulting email in our inbox.

5. How long we keep it

We keep inquiry emails for as long as they are useful to the conversation, and typically no longer than is needed to evaluate a potential pilot, advisor, or partner relationship. You can ask us to delete your information at any time by emailing hello@mokiyo.com.

6. Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, export, or delete the personal information we hold about you. To exercise any of these rights, email us at hello@mokiyo.com and we will respond within a reasonable period. We will not discriminate against you for exercising these rights.

California residents: we do not sell or “share” personal information as those terms are defined under the CCPA/CPRA.

EEA/UK residents: our lawful basis for processing the information you submit through the contact form is your consent, which you provide by choosing to send us your message. You may withdraw that consent at any time by emailing hello@mokiyo.com — withdrawal does not affect any processing already carried out. Standard server logs (see “Information we collect”) are processed on the basis of our legitimate interest in the security and operation of the Site. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority — for example, the UK Information Commissioner’s Office (ICO) or your EU member-state supervisory authority.

7. Children

This site is directed at construction-industry professionals. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 16.

8. International transfers

If you submit information from outside the United States, it will be transferred to and processed in the United States and/or countries where our service providers operate.

9. Security

We take reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect the information you submit. No online service is perfectly secure, so please don’t send us highly sensitive information (financial account numbers, government IDs, etc.) through the contact form.

10. Changes to this policy

If we update this policy, we’ll change the effective date at the top. Material changes will be highlighted where reasonable.
